Cataract

All light entering the eye passes through the lens, where it is focused onto the retina to form clear images.

Cataracts occur when this lens becomes cloudy, preventing light from passing through properly and causing blurred or hazy vision.

To ensure safe and effective treatment, proper post-surgical care is just as important as the surgery itself.

Healing Eye Clinic offers an exclusive Day-Care Cataract Surgery Program, designed especially for patients with lower immunity.
This same-day admission and discharge system allows for continuous medical supervision and focused treatment after surgery, ensuring a safer and more comfortable recovery experience.

Causes of Cataracts

Cataracts can be broadly categorized into two types:

congenital and acquired.

Congenital Cataracts

The exact cause of congenital cataracts is often unclear.

They may result from infections during fetal development, chromosomal abnormalities, or metabolic disorders.

Acquired Cataracts

This is the most common type of cataract and typically develops with aging, especially in older adults.
It can also be caused by eye trauma, certain medications, or underlying ocular diseases.
